Pediatric eye exams are a very important part of the growth and development of your child. We offer exams for children of all ages, including infants. During an exam, the doctor is looking for visual defects, good eye health, and healthy eye function that a vision screening at your child’s school or pediatrician’s office cannot fully evaluate. Vision and eye health make a large part of the proper development of a child’s learning and growth. During a pediatric eye exam, the doctor will perform different tests than a regular eye exam for teenagers and adults in order to get the most accurate data and write the most appropriate prescription.
